We’re  looking for fabulous contributors on a range of issues. You don’t have to be a professional writer, just willing to share your thoughts, experiences and opinions with other people. We like pithy, funny, irreverent, probing, hilarious, original and gripping. Check out our site, and you’ll see what we mean.

We’re not looking for novels – unless you have one you want us to review, but rather shorter pieces that run approximately 300 words long. You may submit a query if you like, but generally we prefer to see completed pieces, because really execution is everything! We don’t financially compensate writers, but we can offer you increased traffic on your blog or Web site, by linking to it in your byline.

Here are a few more guidelines:

• webdirec.com the right to edit any and all submissions for clarity and/or brevity. We also reserve the right to publish material without your approval or review. Please thoroughly proofread and spell-check your work before sending to avoid publication changes.

• You, as the author, assign webdirec .com, and its owners the right to publicly display and distribute electronically any submission(s), and to use submitted material for promotional purposes and to maintain in our archives indefinitely.

• By submitting your material you understand and agree that webdirec .com. maintains the final right to decide whether something gets published and when. webdirec .com reserves the right to reject any submission, at any time, without prior notification or explanation.

• Please make sure your submissions include your real name or the name you would like to be published under, your e-mail address and telephone number (your contact information will not be displayed on the website.)

Other than that, the sky is pretty much the limit as far as topics go. If it’s something you think people are thinking about (or should be!) then we want to review it.
